Thomas Eberl re-elected as LBT representative
At the end of March, Thomas Eberl was elected for a third, six-year term as the representative for the district of Traunstein in the Bavarian Association of Transport and Logistics Companies (LBT). Eberl has now been active in the association for 12 years. The LBT represents the interests of the transport companies in the political arenas of economic and transportation policy – regardless of whether the issue is tax laws, fair European regulations or working time rules for drivers. The advocacy group has set a goal of creating a level playing field to help medium-sized transport companies compete in the European market. To do this, their primary goals are to eliminate the distortion in the fiscal market that threatens the existence of medium-sized companies and also the repeal of unfair technical and social regulations.
