On the 5th of September 2011, after a comprehensive audit and also an external audit, Eberl Internationale Spedition GmbH & Co. KG received the status of regulated agent from the German FAA.

we will now be entered on list of regulated agents.
The term, regulated agent, under the framework of the EU directive (EG) no. 300/2008 and the German Air Freight Safety Law (LuftSiG), is a status that air freight companies or freight forwarders, among others, can obtain for expediting the handling of freight at airports.
The regulations stipulate that the air freight companies (airlines) have to carry out comprehensive security measures (e.g., x-ray, simulation chamber, etc.) before the freight is loaded onto an airplane. The consequences of these measures are, among others, departure delays for the delivery and increasing costs for all companies involved in air freight transport.
Our present status will help us simplify and expedite the handling of freight at airports, without this leading to a decrease in security.
