Nearly 100 participants – including Spedition EBERL – met for the closing conference on Lake Chiemsee

The closing conference of “AlpInfoNet” was held in the Upper Bavarian town of Prien on Lake Chiemsee. The goal of the project is to set up a cross-border information network spanning the entire Alpine region for sustainable transportation means for tourists and residents alike. In doing so, the negative impacts on the Alpine environment should be reduced and, at the same time, the promotion of public transportation throughout the Alps will be accelerated.

The LKZ Prien GmbH was contracted to coordinate the project and is responsible for its implementation in the pilot region around Lake Chiemsee.  Further pilot regions can be found in Austria, France, Italy and Slovenia.

The Parlimentary State Secretary of the German Ministry for Transportation and Digital Infrastructure, Dorothee Bär (see picture) affirmed the importance of this project.

The creation of an environmentally compatible and resource efficient logistical process is also the goal of Spedition EBERL. This is why we have been partners with LKZ Prien GmbH for many years.
